This policy explains how MyMate Limited (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use ajitkumarnair.com or buy our services. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1. What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, and anything you write in your message.
- When you order: your business name and contact details, your brief, and any logos, photos, videos or text you send us.
- When you pay: payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe tells us your name, email address and whether payment was successful. We never see or store your card details.
- When you visit the website: our web host and security tools keep basic technical records, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site working and safe.
2. Why we collect it
We use your information to reply to you, prepare quotes, make and deliver your work, take payments, send receipts, and keep business and tax records. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with services we need to run our business:
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Our website host, and our email and file storage providers, to store messages and files.
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law.
Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.
4. Your files and materials
We only use the logos, photos, videos and text you send us to make your work. We may show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. Please do not send us anyone’s personal or health information unless it is needed for your job and you have their permission.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Business and tax records are kept for 7 years, as New Zealand law requires. After that, we delete them securely.
6. Keeping it safe
We protect your information with secure connections, strong passwords, two-factor sign-in, and security monitoring on our website.
7. Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work and stay secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Just contact us and we will reply within 20 working days. We may need to check your identity first.
